Draughting and visualising a considered interior.

Located in the Cotswolds, this farmhouse renovation was led by HHC Architectural with interior design by Bucknall James. I was brought in by TJ Carpentry & Joinery to survey the property and produce all drawings and visualisations required for the project’s extensive joinery package.

Working from designer sketches and specifications, I developed 3D models, visuals, and full technical drawing sets for approval and manufacture. The scope included kitchens, a bar, wine cellar, staircase, internal doors, windows, and glazed screens.

As with many heritage buildings, the structure presented a number of quirks and irregularities. Floor levels, ceiling heights, and wall angles varied throughout, requiring the joinery to be designed with flexibility and care.

The process involved close coordination with the interior designer, the workshop and on-site contractors, ensuring drawings reflected the realities of the site and could be executed cleanly. Visuals were also produced where needed to support approvals and communicate specific design features clearly.

The result is a cohesive, fully bespoke set of joinery that sits comfortably within a sensitively restored home - delivered through detailed coordination across design, fabrication, and site teams.
