A cost-effective way to validate a design before committing to the build.

A London homeowner approached me with a clear concept for their kitchen renovation. They had already settled on a modern layout and material direction but needed a way to see it clearly before instructing trades. The goal was to visualise the space without the expense of a full interior design process.

We began by gathering reference material: rough layouts, inspiration images, and a clear wishlist - including light timber cabinetry, reddish marble-look worktops, and specific pendant lighting. I produced a 2D layout based on their dimensions and spatial goals, then modelled the kitchen in 3D to create a series of photorealistic renderings.

Material selections were accurately represented using custom textures and finishes, and the lighting design was built in to show how the space would feel in use. A round of revisions followed to refine key elements and ensure the design was aligned with the client’s vision.

The final visuals gave the client the clarity they needed. They were able to move forward confidently, using the images to gather contractor quotes, sense-check their choices, and avoid unnecessary changes during the build.

The result was a streamlined, low-cost design process that supported fast, informed decision-making.
